Currently doing some R&D to make our insert slots for interior signs using a slotting tool that belin and others carry. consists of hogging out insert area. running the slotting bit along the hogged area to make the slot for the clear acrylic/vinyl cover. It creates a channel for the cover to run under the surface of the material. Does anyone use this method currently? If so what brand bit do you use and what material are you making your sign out of. thanks
