I have recently purchased a small digital cutter with software to allow print and cut features. I am working on some small art pieces, trying to find the right combo of printing(epson pigment 2200 inkjet) and papers that I can seal and uv epoxy coat.
I have come across a printable inkjet adhesive vinyl that I can cut with my cutter. I plan to print to the vinyl bond the vinyl to a stiff 100lb card stock, which I will enamel paint black then contour cut the designs out of this combo.
I have a doming uv epoxy resin for the front.
Do I need to seal the front with a clear enamel spray over the printed vinyl before doming or does printed vinyl bond to uv epoxy with out a sealer.
