Uv Printing Palight (PVC) - Static Issues & Ink Misting

Hey Guys,
We are having a little bit of trouble with printing on PVC Palight (Grimco Brand). We think static is playing an issue with the print heads.
We are getting Ink misting on the blank white areas - Its not a ton but it is noticeable and has been a pain to go back and clean up.

Any recommendations to getting rid of static ?? Our Humidity is around 40 %, Temp in warehouse is around 65 F.
We are located outside of Cleveland Ohio so we started see the issue more when temps dropped outside.
Our Printer is a Fluid Color (Handtop) with Ricoh 6 Gen Heads.

Ive Attached a quick picture, the misting is hard to see but its randomly on the blank white areas.

Hey, outside of Cleveland here as well. That definitley looks like a static issue due to low humidity. Happens to us this time of year as well. We try to keep our humidity up over 50%. We have a static bar installed on our FB700. We also use a spray called K2R when it gets real bad.

Thanks for the advise Glavin, Im gonna grab some K2R Spray tomorrow looks like a few local stores carry it & ill try that. Im gonna get the humidity to over 50% tomorrow and see if we can get better results.

this works very well for static, it will even clean the fingerprints off polystyrene.

If the printer has an ionizer bar make sure that is clean

Have u solved ur problem? We have a hybrid uv printer and we also had the same problem. We have installed an ionizator bar on it and the problem is gone.
