UV4 ink

Has anybody here upgraded their printer from UV2 ink to UV4 ink ?
If so have you had any issues or was it a smooth change over, I'm thinking of doing mine soon.

Thanks for the download info, I already have that.

I was more interested in the "Slight Color change" that Roland mention and if you need to re tweek
your colors to match your original prints that were done with UV2 ink.

If you have hyper critical customers or corporate colors (i.e. Coke, Nike, etc...) to hit you might need to reprofile but otherwise color change is minimal.

To date, we have not had any clients require profile changes/reprofiling.

We converted ours over right when they were released due to UV2 giving one of our heads major problems. The only real change I noticed is that the Yellow ink is not quite as vibrant as the UV2. It's just a little softer and more dull. Have only had one job in the (almost) year since we've switched that complained about the color not matching what we had made for them before.

Hi and thank you for the replies.

I dont have any really critical customers so I guess the change over will be quite smooth, I was thinking
that I would have to go over all our files to adjust colors which would make the change over a real pain.

I'm doing the change over in a few days (over the weekend) and I'll let you know how I went.
