Variable Data Printing With Onyx/Wasatch

Has anyone had much experience with the Variable Data features in either Wasatch or Onyx. I'm in the market for a flatbed UV and will often need to add barcodes with variable data.

I have been able to get a brief demo of the Wasatch but I'm not sure how useful the Onyx production house is for VDP.

If anyone has any experience using variable data with either of these programs I'd love to hear about it. Getting a demo copy of these softwares is like pulling teeth.

Very little. I prefer to export to single page PDFs and then impose an arrangement in InDesign or Illustrator. Not as quick as just dumping a multi-page file in the RIP; but, it's proof against all manner of file gremlins.
