Vehicle badge font

Hi guys can anyone figure out what this font is?

Its an actual badge on a Australian built vehicle, the thunder is a special edition and I need to do something to go along with it using the same font.

Any ideas? thanks in advance!

it looks like Akzidenz-Grotesk Bold Italic (expanded approx 200%). that Holden Ute is neat!
