Need Help Vehicle Graphic Transfer Tape Size

I've never done any graphics for vehicles. This one is just a large oval. I'm not installing it but it's going to be fairly large, around 30". I want to apply some transfer tape to it but I don't want to order a huge roll. Is it ok to use a more narrow tape and just go over the graphic a couple times to cover it? So instead of buying 30" transfer tape I get like 15" and go over it a couple times to cover it.

Works just fine. Not ideal but we have done it many times.... Does tend to leave a thin bubble line where the tape overlaps though.

I do it all the time. It's fine
