Vehicle Wrap Question

I am getting ready to do my first wrap on my company truck. Attached is a picture of an area on my truck and was wanting to know how to deal with this area. Should I try and bridge these concave areas and then heat down or should I try and work the vinyl down in these areas and not bridge? I am using Avery 1005 EZ. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

you can print the cab, and the bed separately, add bleed, and tuck around the corners? If you do it in 1 piece, just bridge it over, cut down the middle, then tuck...

I'm not sure how to do this either but I dont' think that's what he was asking. I think he was asking about the crease that runs along the bottom of the truck.

Yes, sorry for not being clear. I'm referring to the deep body lines (grooves) in the truck.

Work from above it, down into it - DO NOT BRIDGE, work vinyl into the crease.

+1 ... if you bridge and heat into the crease it tends to bubble up later, but take the time to start above and work into it then it should avoid that issue.

don't worry about that channel.. it's nothing tricky... just wrap into channels.. avoid bridging and heating, it'll pop later.

apply with the channels. clean good finishing with 91% alcohol. if using 3M, would recommend primer 94. also heat twice and use a channel roller to press the vinyl in. 3M makes various sizes to use on grooves but always use heat to relax the memory

don't use primer.. That thing is far from needing primer...

Tuck it in, don't bridge it.
It's a nice straight crease you won't have a problem w/ it.

You said you're using the Avery 1005 Supercast, right? Use the DOL 1360 lam and bridge right over it. heat it and push it in with an applicator glove coated w/ soap & water. Then post heat to 190*. It's not going anywhere. Promise.

And don't use 94. EVER!
