Versaworks 540i

I have been using the printer/cutter for several months now and have just tried to cut a logo out of the vinyl without prining any color. It is pretty detailed but the blade tears the vinyl throughout the pattern? I have tried adjusting the spped from 30 down to 1 and the pressure from 170 to 50 and nother seems to aliviate the tearing? Any ideas?

Are you making these adjustments through VersaWorks or on the Printer?

How old is this machine?

Get a new blade, but good one like CleanCut Blades!
170 pressure? I have a SP300 and pressure is 50 on VP540 45!

Yeah pick up a clean cut blade for the machine. They last forever and cut with about 50% less force then he blade the 540i comes with.

For non-lamianted vinyl, Calendered i am cutting at 55 and 135 with laminate.
