VG3-540 question

it's a simple question... I was wondering if the front light comes on when you open the door and load material. When I open it and it "wakes" it does but while I am trying to load material it isn't on. Is this just the nature of this beast? if it came on while moving material to align for crop marks that also would be great.

Should be on when opening the front cover.

You can set it in the menu to always on, always off or automatic (on when opening the cover or start printing). Not shure about the position of that item in the menu (I think „settings“-submenu), but should be easy to find.

Thank you, I have only had it a few weeks, I thought it lit when the door was opened, doesn't do it now. I'll check the settings. If not I'll call my tech...
