When I turn on the machine, the tool carridge slides all the way to the right, hits the side and starts beeping. Usually, i carefully slide it over, turn it off and turn it back on and it works fine. Now when it does it, the tool carridge won't move.

I had an issue like this a few months ago. There's a bumper on my cutter that the carriage had bent, turning it into a hook that the carriage couldn't return from. Check out this thread:

I moved my plotter to my new shop and something must have gotten disconnected or damaged during transit. When I went to start it up the carriage ran to the right and hit the side cover and now won't budge. I've taken the covers off and don't see any loose cables or broken parts, but obviously...

no, it came with easycut studio . I bought my printer from a tint company which came with cutting software for window tint film and on the cd has easycut shipped from thesignwarehouse
