JHarris
President
Harris Design & Print is seeking another vinyl installer to add our crew in beautiful Eugene, Oregon.
Experience is preferred but not mandatory. If you are a fast learner, with a drive to progress your skills daily, and you have pride in your work, we can train you. If you watched a wrapping video and thought it looked interesting, that’s a good start. But we are looking for the person who took the next step, bought some vinyl, tried it and are wanting to become really good at it.
The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, quality-centered, and customer-focused environment. We like to think of ourselves as a high craftsmanship / boutique style graphics shop, so commitment to quality is a must. Candidates must be able to work in a team-oriented environment along with other installers and team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepping vehicles for vinyl graphic installation (light automotive mechanical experience a plus for removing door handles, accessories, etc., but not necessary)
- Installing vinyl vehicle graphics, wraps, storefront windows, and interior wall graphics
- Installations at client locations here in town
- Removal of vinyl wraps and graphics
- Keeping the installation bay neat and organized
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work alone or as a team to meet customer's installation needs
- Must possess strong attention to detail and high level of care and craftsmanship
- Must have a positive, upbeat, "can-do" attitude
- Must be able to communicate effectively with the designers, production team, management, and customers to ensure every install results in the utmost quality and a high level of customer satisfaction
- Must be able to shift gears with little notice based on changing client requirements
- Must be able to manage your time to meet deadlines
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay
- 9 paid holidays each year
- 6 paid personal days (1 day added for each year employed)
Work Hours M-F, 8:30 – 5:00 (30-minute unpaid lunch break) = 40 hrs/week.
Compensation factors include experience, skill level and references.
