Hi,

Does anyone how I can clean under sledge on the head as I have some lint in the middle and just cannot seem to shift it, which is causing ink drops.

I don't want to remove the head if possible.

Have you tried taking the left side cover off and sliding the carriage all the way to the left and then going at it (carefully) with some tweezers?

Not tried it, as I thought the head stopped at the edge, will investigate now.

My guess is your machine is running dye sub inks and someone cut the heater wires to prevent accidental heating.

Nope running eco solvent, and the front heater heats up

Interesting. Does the platen heater and pre-heater heat up?

Just checked and platen and pre don't heat up, but everything is dry to the touch, guess i'm going to need to get the crimps out and have a go a reconnecting.

My only thought is why would it be live that in the first place.
