Vp 540 blurry print

Hi can anyone help in printing solid black onto yellow selected from fill/stroke editor when I use any other background colour it prints fine but when I user the yellow it comes out thick and blurry???

Hi Terry Thanks for the reply I have tried increasing the temperature from print dryer from 38 to 48 and feed dryer from 48 to 50 didn’t make a lot of difference what I found after wasting loads of materiel and ink is that it does this when set it on standard print 720x720 dpi but when I print it in high quality 1040 x 1040 it prints fine exactly as it should why is this? Is it a fault on the machine, or do you have to print 2 colour one on top of another (darker colours) on high quality setting ?

Have you tried the simple solution by cleaning the encoder strip. Water and a lint free cloth only
