VP-540, Speed up printing

Is there anyway to get a VP-540 to speed up printing once it has already started?

No.

Once the job has been RIPped and begins to print, all throughput variables have been set, and there is no way to change the speed, aside from cancelling the job and re-sending it using different of print settings.
