VP540 - cyan - channel went missing

Hello,
we have lost one side of cyan channel,
tried pulling ink through captop. Got it a little bit better but after one cleaning it went away again.
We changed captop and 2 dampers.
Tried Ink fill but nothing.
Can it be head cable? - We figured it isn’t because every time after cleaning different nozzles work. Is it air leak?
We managed to get one channel to work but another one is still missing a lot of nozzles.

please post a picture of the nozzle test print

it Is either a head clog or electrical.
you can syringe at the head manifold on the right side and see it it clogged. If you can push cleaning fluid through, then no clog.
for electrical, can can use the short ribbon cables from an adjacent head to test the circuit.
left to left, right to right.
make sure to gently masking tape the exposed ends from the cyan head

Could be a cracked manifold nipple, usually at the base. Happened to me twice. This print pattern can happen if any air is getting in from at the "Y" to the damper to the manifold. It is only happening on one side of the printhead. If you have a syringe, remove the damper (straight up or you can crack the manifold) and try pulling ink through the damper with a syringe. Be careful how you hold the damper as well. If you can pull the ink without seeing any air bubbles or areas of air in the line then I would suspect that it is in the manifold. If you can rule out that no air is getting in to the head, just ink, then as said above it could be clogged with dry ink or there is a bad cable. You can probably rule out a bad fuse because you would not get any print from the head.

Keep in mind that if any ink gets on any of the circuits you could short them out. I usually fold up a paper towel and put it over the heads.
