VS 640 Internal Error

Hello:

I have a VS 640, and I just replaced my wiper. Easy enough to do. When I finished and the machine was cleaning itself, it popped up a "Service Call 0109."

I removed the right cover and started to push the carriage over towards the right side. There was some movement underneath the head and then a saw a small spring fall off.

I turned the machine back on and received an "Internal Error 1220387".

I can't seem to see where this spring goes and can't find any info on the error. Roland and my dealer are closed today, any ideas here?

No worries, I fixed it....

The spring went to the top, and I figured out that after replacing the wiper, the mechanism was out of timing by 180 degrees.

After putting it back in timing...it all worked fine.
