VS Choke Lever molested

Changed the dampers on a new to me VS-300, and after all went well, I find the previous owner has had their way with the choke lever : /
Luckily there was enough meat and I could leverage the hex key to finish the choke clean

Has anyone remedied this, or should I just get a new piece?

Yeah, sometimes us guys have a hard time choosing appropriate words... however, problem solved!

Molest is a rather archaic word. It used to mean to pester, or to harass someone in an aggressive or persistent manner. The word is even used in some church hymns.

Blame it on the euphemistic-loving, word-twisting and red-herring propagating media for making it represent the abuse and violation we now understand.
