VS640i not cutting same depth from side to side

Hello,

I have a VS640-I and when I cut decals and signs on my printer it seems to not have the same cut pressure on the left as on the right.

Doing any perf cuts the decals on the left do not cut through completely , items on the right cut just fine.

any suggestions?

Might be time to change the cut strip. Check it for any grooves that are cut into it. Usually the right side gets used more so it wears faster and you get an uneven strip.

I had this happen to me about a year ago, it was the cutting strip that needed replacing, once I did that it cut evenly again. When I pulled out the old, you could see that half of it was worn through and the other side was fine.
