Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to all the members who take the time to help other people with a problem or question. I can attest to the fact that you help many more people in the process. You can be sure that if someone is puzzled by something, there are others who are in the same boat too.

Without going into a boring life story racket, I went back to school at the age of 50 to take Graphic Design (signed up here then) and now I’m working full time in the sign industry. So, you’ve helped me with my education in school and in real life too.

I haven’t contributed much yet because I didn’t feel I had much to offer. However in the spirit of sharing information here are a couple of links I think people might enjoy:

I know many people are into Typography and this is the best site I’ve ever seen on the subject (I would advise scrolling down to site map and start . . . amazing subject, in my opinion).

Thanks again, Tim

Thanks. No, I just thought they were neat subjects and I have a passion for photography.

Hard to believe but I walked into a great job two months before I finished my course; I run two Roland SJs, roll laminators, Flexi and Versaworks etc. We do all the usual large format printing jobs; help with some installs and our web site stuff too.

I don't have a chance to do much actual design work . . . too busy with the printers! But I like the work and there is a lot to learn.
