Want to upgrade from this Athlon x4-640 (VW Dual 1.8)

HAven't changed this PC because it WORKS and doesn't give us any problems. But our workload is increasing and VWD rip times are a bottleneck.

I know this is a 32bit program and only uses a single core on CPU -- I'm looking at reviews and specs but oftentimes those don't address raw power for a single-core-aware RIP. What has been your experience with upgrades?

Get something fresh with SSD and you will most definitely see a huge difference.
