Wayfinding signs with lots of small acrylic letters best production method to adhere?

How thick are the letters? Most wayfinding signs with raised letters call for 1/32" thick, which is why ADA applique material was created. Gemini Duets has tons of colors as well as clear, if they don't have a close enough colour, get the clear and paint it from the backside, then apply 3M 467 adhesive and cut on a laser or rotary engraver. We do these all the time.

3m 467mp is top tier. Leave it adhered to the top material for a day or two for optimal adhesion. Apply to the base material and cut soon after, it makes 'weeding' the top material off easier the faster its peeled.
Sorry could you elaborate on this? For this project we have the acrylic letters which are backed with vinyl. Would you attach the 467 to the vinyl on the acrylic and leave it for a few days and then cut the letters out and then attach it the ACM?

6mm or 1/4". Can you go that thick with the laser stuff?

Stick the vinyl to the clear, stick the 467 to the vinyl, wait a day, then apply this sheet to your acm, and route through the top layers. On second thought, on ACM, you will likely end up scoring the painted layer, causing the aluminum to show through.
