Well the Myans were right. My spindle died today.

After nearly twelve years of reliable service, my Multicam 4 hp Colombo spindle died in action this morning. Bearing are fried and I can't wait for a rebuild. So it's time to fetch me a new one. Not exactly the $3,000.00 Christmas present I wanted to buy myself, but it is what it is?

Hopefully the new one arrives next Wednesday when we are back in the shop!

Did you check with Florida Armature in Kissimmee? I was told by Multicam that they are pretty fast on rebuilds.

be thankful it's not the gerber HF spindle, those go for kidney prices from what I've seen.
