Need Help What Causes This?

It seems as though enough ink isn’t being out on, but I’m not sure what setting to change to correct it.

I changed it to 2 count, but that seems to lay too much ink down and smears as the printhead is crossing.

Either a profile issue or media issue. Try the same profile on a known good media and see what it looks like. I use the same custom profile for all gloss media here, and some medias it just looks grainier on. I think it is due to a crappier/cheaper surface coating, as the nicer/pricier medias never have that issue.

Are you printing through Production Manager of FlexiSign? Have you tried printing at 16 pass or 32 Pass? High Quality

You can edit the profile from the printers panel, select the profile / modify / click the little pencil, run test plot and select desired changes, or you can "add new print mode" to that profile without running a test plot but be sure you change to the new mode in flexi.
