What kind of substrate for brushed aluminum lobby sign

Normally we'll do acrylic w/ dusted vinyl on 2nd surface; Dimensional or cut graphics 1st surface; mounted with standoffs.

What do you guys do when the client wants a brushed metal backer? I was thinking about using max metal, but I'm worried the edges aren't going to look finished enough.

Thanks team!

We'll use MaxMetal or DiBond, mask the front and spray the edges with Krylon metallic silver, and then remove the mask and add graphics. It eliminates the black/metal sandwich look on the edges.

Both good suggestions. I'm using Avery brushed chrome vinyl on one right now. I will try the max metal technique on my next one.

Thanks team!
