Suggestions What LEDs do you use and why?

New to the sign industry and would like to know what makes one LED module or strip better than another? I've tried principal g2gs, GE, Hanley, 12v, 24v. They all seemed to work with similar results. None of my signs have been in for more than a year so I can't speak about longevity.

We made a set of channel letters for another sign company and they specified all GE LEDs and power supplies. They sure were expensive. Are they worth it?

I like using https://www.superbrightleds.com, I had one issue and a power supply started busting....they replaced and asked for the busted one back so they could see whats up. Other than that they are solid units, very bright I really like hanley LED, grimco carries them, never an issue with them yet

We use Signlight LED Generation 2 bulbs for double sided cabs. No re-wiring anything. Haven't had a single issue yet.

We use GOQ LEDs (https://goqledamerica.com), they are Samsung LEDs rebranded. We have never ran into any issues.

I have recently used Hanley LED for RGB Color changing options, they also have a very slim transformer which helps with interior jobs.

I like my principal modules in 24v, as well as the everylite opticmax(I really hate how cheap the name sounds...) series for building your own sticks. Takes a few extra minutes to assemble, but the ability to stock them for future products kicks the crap out of made to order sticks. Still waiting to see how well they hold up.
