Officially it is the cloud version 11. Version 10 will probably work but there might be a few issues here and there. I wouldn't recommend any version before 10.

I know for Windows 7 x64 the "official" support started with 8.5 (updateable to 8.6v2). Seems to be hit an miss with folks getting earlier versions to work right on x64 Windows 7. My guess is you could probably get 8.5 or higher working on Windows 8 but not really sure since I've never tried it. Chris probably knows better than I would as far as Windows 8.
