What wide format material do you use for product labels?

I've tried a lot of materials but most sign vinyl's don't have the look and feel of labels printed from actual label printers, is there a material you use that gets close?

What label are you trying to duplicate? the best and most intricate labels I see around here are for the Wacky Tabacky groups - they seem to use vinyl and a textured laminae... not really thin. printing to a cheap 2mil vinyl will give a thinner feel... Some labels are printed on a paper substrate, not vinyl. You should be able to source some, not sure about small quantities in rolls - sheet fed you can purchase letter size boxes of 100 sheets. Many different types of paper media for labels....

I am looking for a vinyl that is still thin 2.5 - 3mil maybe even 4mil that has rigidity that I don't have to laminate. I am laminating 4mil Orajet 3164 vinyl with a 3mil lam Brightline Shield and it just takes so much time. I went to a 6mil vinyl Orajet 3258 but it didn't stick well and was a bit to thick.

We use Substance 3755 for our embossed stickers that aren't laminated. At 3.75 mil it's thinner than our typical laminated stickers which are around 5.5 mil, but it works pretty well. It's also air release, so customers have an easier time with bubble free application. Never had any complaints about them not sticking well either.

try to find a 1mil laminate, do not how much it will cost, but I used to use that a lot for a 2.5mil oracal vinyl. very nice thickness and rigidity.

I also use Substance 3750/3755 for non-laminated labels off my UV printer.
