when to change dampers in Vp540

Hi,

can you tell me when do we need to change dampers in a Vp540? Is there any problem that can be solved replacing them ?

I believe it's when you start seeing ink starvation issues...could be wrong, tho

You shouldn't need to replace unless you have worn or defective dampers, these last quite a long time. Ink starvation will be the key indicator when they need to be replaced - and be SURE to get the correct damper...third party dampers seals do not quite fit properly and become part of the problem... for a few bucks extra you can have the proper Roland parts.
