I am trying to fined an outdoor white gloss printable vinyl! I have a converted Roland Cj-500 to do my outdoor printing with, and for some reason when printing it seems the printout looks spotty. The white glossy vinyl I am using is Mactac.. any ideas anyone?

All typical printable vinyl comes white. 3M, Oracal, Avery, General Formulations etc

Spotting may be contamination on the material (fingerprints, oils, dirt, bad roll etc)

John, you are so right! After posting the message I took alcohol and cleaned down the media with a soft wiping tow ...and wow what a difference it made!
Thanks for your input!

No problem, Glad i could help :)

I haven't had this issue yet *crosses fingers* but have heard of others and sometimes it comes this way from the factory for whatever reason.

John is right,

I usually clean the first foot or two of media I print each day.
I always wash my hands before handling it as well. I've had a few prints ruined by contaminated fingers.
For instance, do not eat a pack of Doritos and handle the media. Don't ask me how I know this, lol.
