Widest printer

Does anyone know is there wider printer than 5 meters. Client wants to make 8x10m banner in one piece.

You're looking for what's called grand format. HP Scitex has multiple 5 meter printers, Vutek has a 7 meter, not sure what company makes one out to 8. Best bet is to talk the client into splitting it, you can't see seams on a banner that large from typical viewing distances.

??? never heard of those. 5 Meter is the widest. Never seen any media over 198" wide anyways.

Only thing out there is from huge production print company Metro Media (MMT). http://www.mmt.com/about_us.php
They have dozens of there own custom made Drum Printers. Even they have to weld panels together only they do it prior to printing

Like Mike said - its not the printer - its the availability of media that wide

Yup 5m max for machines and vinyl.
