Will Flexi pro 8.1 run FC8000?

I heard that Flexi Sign Pro 8.1 will not run the FC8000? Will I need to upgrade to 10?

Not 100% sure on 8.1..... 8.6v2 lists the FC8000 (60, 75, 100, 130, and 160). I'm guessing 8.1 probably also does.
