For those on here that run Wilcom E3 on Win 10, I thought I would mention a situation that a member of one of my trade groups is having after a recent Win 10 update.
Apparently an update happened recently and it associated all raw embroidery stitch files (DST, PES, VIP, U?? etc) to Wilcom as denoted by the icon by the file. Unfortunately, it had removed all names and it had removed the meta data that is shown in the Preview Pane.
I had suggested going through and changed the associated to a non-Wilcom program and the names came back, but meta data is still gone.
I think she is going to try to remove the update and see what that does. Haven't heard back on that as of yet.
