Window Perf shows weird blotches??!!

Hey gang! Im using optically clear laminate on my 50/50 perf, like I should. Looks great on the table but after I apply it to the truck window, if you look in the sunlight, you can see these weird blotches. Im installing in our shop, which is 68 degrees. Suggestions? Anyone seen this happen before?

sorry. i have no idea. i don't apply laminate to my perf. winter up here kills it anyway..

Welcome to S101. Apparently you have not installed much perf before. That will go away after some time in the sun. You can try to minimize it by experimenting with how much pressure you use when applying perf but it's pretty much normal.

also you will want to cut the perf back from the rubber on the window and then seal the perf edge so you don't have curling.
