Wiper Sensor Error?

I came in to the shop this morning to find my 1204 flashing the E082Err wiper sns. code. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the first time I have had any problems with this printer and I really dont know where to start. Thanks!

1. Check connection
of wiper sensor
connector.
2. Replace wiper
sensor.
3. Replace wiper
origin cable
assembly.
4. Replace pump cap
assembly.
5. Replace main board
assembly.

I'd check the maintenance station.
Could be the track that the wiper slides on is gummed up with dried ink.
You can pull it and clean it up - lube the slides - replace the wiper and see if the error goes away.

Thanks for the suggestions. I pulled the wiper assembly out and cleaned it. Made it through the day with no more errors!
