Wrap templates for heavy equipment?

This is probably a long shot, but are there templates out there for foreign heavy equipment? I have a customer wanting to wrap the painted body panels of a Mecalac wheel excavator, it's from France.
Here's a manufacturer image. The opposite side is more detailed with a grill and other hardware to work around. Customer will be installing, he just wants me to design & print.

Take transfer paper and make a template.

I thought of that but wasn't sure if it was the way to go. Will also measure each area with a flexible tape measure. Thx!
