xc540 question

for some reason today while printing when it prints black it leaves tiny streaks to the right of the black. Like tiny trails. Only does it with the black. What would cause this? see attached.

What does your nozzle check look like?

Could be lint or fuzz on print head.
Could be head height.
Bad damper causing dropout.

You probably need to clean all the heads manually with swabs then try again first.

I am going to clean them as soon as this print is finished. Even with the flaws from the black it is still usable do to the height at which it will be installed. I have a feeling my son has been slacking on the head cleanings like he is suppose to be doing. Shame on me for not checking.
