XR-640 nozzle issues

Got this printer cheap with basically no printout output, after headsoaks and and lots of cleaning rounds I am up to this result:

So basically 1 printhead is doing alot better than the other.
Questions:

* is the right hand print the right hand Printhead?
* Could my dampers be clogged?
* Should I change Captops?

Do you know how long the printer sat without being used? Sounds like the printer sat for a while without being used. Keep soaking the heads and hopefully the will unclog.

How old are the ink caps? That is what I would start with first.

I have never seen a damper get clogged, but there is a first time for everything. But it sound like on the information above you will need a couple of heads..

Graphic Extremes Thank you! I will keep soaking and if that doesn't help I'm gonna risk doing a ultrasonic cleaning on both heads.
Not sure how old they are, but I have a new one ready to install. Maybe do that on the one that has lower output? Which leads me back to the question about which output belongs to which printhead.

I would try new dampers and caps also before doing the head, Make sure to use oem parts for those, I never had any luck with the aftermarket ones

Ultrasonic cleaning will destroy the heads, so dont do it. To be honest I dont think you are ever going to get it running well enough to produce decent print unless you change the heads

Ohh, no use wasting my time on that I guess. Will keep soaking and hoping

Why don’t you just verify if the heads are clogged manually

Managed to get head A spotless but had to buy a new B head. Ended up soaking with nailpolish remover and it seemed to dissolve the remaining clog. (not with aceton)
