XR-640 Sheet cutter won't stay down to cut the sheet

Hi,

not sure if I have a part missing or something but when I press sheetcut, the carriage goes all the way and the knife wheel drops down but as soon as it leaves the "wall" the wheel goes up again and it just goes home without cutting the sheet.

Anyone have any ideas?

Need to adjust the angle of the whole cutter with the 2 top screws.
Also, There is a spring on the rear that pops off occasionally, this usually keeps the knife down w/o the spring.

I have seen this before, the problem was caused by a worn mechanism so the wheel wouldnt give enough pressure to keep the blade down. The only fix was to replace it . I should have them in stock if you need one
