Xrite eXact Scan base

I need some insight on using our new Xrite eXact Scan. Currently using it for spot color databases mainly, but want to implement it in our production of 4CP screen printing.

The program that is used only measures density and LAB. We need to be able to measure dot gain (TVI) in one pass using the scan base. Is this something anyone has experience with?
