Yellow is missing in my eco solvent printer

Few days ago my one year old dx5 head got head strike. After that nozzle test shows Y1 80 % lines are missing .two days ago Y2 and Y1 both are totally vanished. I call local engineer to check it they suggest me replacing with new one. M C K are working properly. Pls help.

We had a similar problem with our Roland XR-640. The print head had minor scratches on it from a head strike, but still worked then one day the Lk stopped working. When the techs came to fix it they said it might be a top cap, check if the top cap seal is clean, the rubber is in good condition, or if it is sitting crooked (had that problem on our LEJ-640ft). They also suggested instead of replacing the head, just changing out the dampeners which actually fixed the problem. Hopefully this helps, good luck.
