Yellow to Black Gradient has a red in it?

I'm designing a vehicle wrap, and the bottom of the truck it has a yellow to black gradient fade. Looks good on the screen, but when I printed my test page, it has a redish/orangish band in the print.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

you might try a black to transparent fade over a solid yellow element. but it will probably yield the same result

Try applying the Fade in Photoshop. Sometimes fades created in Vector Programs cause Strange Things when ripped.

If you did it and PS and still getting you need to check your Calibration, Profiles.

See if this helps. If you're working in CMYK check the color combination used, then apply the same to the 100k black. I use this technique a lot, as well as mikey-Oh's technique.

Cheers,
jc
