Zoom in/out issue

I recently upgraded from X4 to X7 and I'm finding a big difference in the zoom in (scroll on mouse) feature.

In X4, wherever the curser was placed, is where you could zoom in on - X7 doesn't do it as well. Is there a sensitivity setting of some sort? Or am I doing something wrong.
