Hey fellow sign guys. Im in the market for a new printer, currently have a roland XR-640pro series. Ive hear alot of issues with the new rolands. Was looking at the truevis lg or mg UVLED. I like the idea of instant print, But now its got me thinking. Anyone have any input on a new printer thats a work horse or one thats easy to maintain.

Hello, I am following along. I am thinking the same thing. Ready to upgrade. I have 2 - XC540 PRO III's. I always liked having the backup and being able to service and repair my own machines. But it's time to make a move. Going to the local dealer by me in 2 weeks to take a look. I will keep you posted. Regards, Anthony

Thanks Joe. Have you tried or could tell me about the Printable Digi Matte White Printable Magnetic Roll, JDS is selling. I have a Mutoh 1324 Valuejet and I order a small roll to see it works. The also come in different thickness, 30 mm 20 mm and 10mm. Thanks

Any recommendations for a removable adhesive to be used as a "vinyl patch" - will be applied on top of 3M IJ 35 C Gloss. Customer needs to cover a word on their sign we just did, but only temporarily. Needs to last 1 month and then remove patch? I was thinking something like Arlon 4600?

I have used just a cast vinyl in the past. I use a heat gun and very carefully and slowing with as little heat as possible remove the patch.

I have a problem with my Roland XC-540.

The knife is not lowering in down

I changed the cut carriage board and the cable and it still haven't working.

Can someone help me?

When you say knife and you mean the contour cut blade vs. the sheet cut blade right?,
If so, replace the cut carriage cable and guides.
