Agreed, we do a lot of Interior installs. There are times though that our Clients want the message to cover the whole window set including the Mullions. We alway try and lean toward the Interior because of Graffiti.
I tried Mineral Spirits seemed to work OK.
I found on amazon - Motsenbockers Lift Off - works good. Doesnt seem to affect the luster finish on the Laminate - its water based.
I have af ew others coming next week including the Cooley Magic. Gonna try all of them and see what works best.
We have never had that issue. I can see that happening if you don't know how to gradually heat the windows and only ever so slightly. But I will keep that in mind when it comes to training our installers.
We do a lot of Window Graphics using 40C with 8509 Laminate. With retail stores closing Entrances to stores, we are dealing with more and more graffiti. Does anyone have ideas on what to use to remove Graffiti without damaging the Laminate? We have tried using Anti-graffiti laminate in the...
If the Windows are really cold he may need to heat them up with a torch before applying. The Cold Air and the Wet Application is a hard combination. Maybe have him try Applying the Vinyl and then letting it sit on the Window for a bit before removing the Transfer tape.
Agreed on the pricing, but like mentioned above, these could be up for several years. My opinion it is better to spend a little more money and know that its not going to fail.
We have an R2000. We overprint on to the belt all day long. It has not caused any issues. It is an easy clean as well if it is cleaned within a day or 2. Spray with Acetone, let it sit for a few minutes then scrub with a nail brush type scrub brush or Lint free towel
