    Roland VG2-540. Sometimes the ink does go down heavy depending on the profile/color (custom red, I just noticed this file is RGB, I usually use CMYK, and VW BK10)

    I have a Seal and a GBC1040WF cold laminators. I get these odd, usually small but sometimes an inch or more in length, bubbles; usually near the trailing edge of color. I will say that maybe it hadn't dried, or off gassed enough but it doesn't happen on other full color things I do - right off...

    Cut on the "O"'s doesn't seem to line up. The offset test also doesn't look right either as the squares do not line up.

    No, we don't use the plastic flanges. The thumping sounds like it under the drive wheel. I tried removing the bottom panel but it appears I'd need to remove the side covers also.

    Sounds like it's coming from inside under where the vinyl rolls over; maybe something to do with the drive wheels?

    No lights. I checked continuity of the switch and it is fine. Should I buy a new board or might it be the transformer?

    Lol, yeah, we bought it used and it has been problematic since we got it. I will see how much it is to repair the connector but only to resell it. Otherwise it's headed to the landfill. We've certainly got our money out of it - looking at buying a new - Summa.

    Our tech guy says there is an energy error and the USB connector, part of the motherboard, is damaged. Our FlexiSign won't recognize the port. Anyone have a used GX-300 motherboard - or a work around? Computer doesn't have a serial port and cutter doesn't have or ethernet port.

    Many restarts, updates, even upgraded to FlexiCloud as we've been putting it off. Roland page says it's an issue and to revert to Windows X.. but I don't have a spare computer to do that. I am using an older Mac which we're getting work done at least.

Works on an older version of Mac I still have (thank goodness) but I tried downloading the GX-300 x86 driver and even had an IT guy take a stab at it...
