How long have you used jet best? Any difference as far as clogged heads. Dx4's clog pretty easily. Also inks pray on electronics?

Still working on the printer. The TR6 transistor was fried and has been replaced. Does anyone know which color this transistor pertains too. Also, does anyone know how to test a head and check if it's fried?

I think it's the head board or main. I unhooked the head cables completely and shielded the ends to make sure it wasn't the head that was shorting the printer out.

My apologies Phototec, I posted a few threads and didn'the realize this was yours. I'm glad you head great success with your printer. I think my problem was that I installed a head that I was unsure of and may gave been fried.

According to Macmedia if the printer turns off it may be the main board. So next i'm checking transistors on head board. Any suggestions on where to go next? Thinking of sending both boards to macmedia.
