The guy that last worked on my printer is nowhere to be found. I have been searching for weeks and can't find anyone. We replaced all the dampers and pumps and the JV3 worked for about a week. Now, head errors. Any tech near NW Arkansas?? (Fingers crossed)

  4. fill up ink won't stop?

Hello again, all. Background: I had my Mimaki JV3 at one of my locations where the heat failed and the inks froze and exploded. I moved the printer to another location and replaced the inks, pumps and dampers. The capping station is holding fluids, the dampers have ink. I would love to do a...

I think both. He did do some mechanical adjustments, but also spent a good deal of time doing electronic adjustments. He was great, but SO FAR AWAY! Anybody know how to find a Mimaki cert tech "near you"? BTW.. just a shout out to all the helpful folks out there spending their time and...
  6. Mimaki jv3-160 sp, printing awful

Hello, all. Just wanted to post an update and huge thanks to all who tried to help me resolve this. The tech says the alignment was one of the worst he'd ever seen. Spent about 2 hours on it and all is rainbows and butterflies. Again - thanks! Tammi

OK - I will post a pic of the nozzle check. The software is RasterLink Pro II. Although the tech who installed the software for me showed me the list of profiles, I don't have the option to choose another profile. The only option os 1005EZ. The machine was bought for new - it had been sitting in...

  13. Hello from Harrison, AR

my shop has been officially open for 2 weeks, and am so glad to be back doing what I love! It was a little bumpy getting in the equipment and getting my new shop ready, and I turned to the great folks here at s101 - thanks, y'all for the great responses! Got my first fleet job this week, I love...
  14. Qe60+ help

I had no idea there were responses - I thought I had tracking turned on.. Sorry, folks! I do appreciate the responses. Turns out, after several days and a number of hours with a tech (I even bought a new computer because they insisted that HAD to be the problem) the default origin point had been...
  15. Qe60+ help

I installed and have since stalled. :( The plotter feeds about 10 feet, then cuts "test" in the center. I have scoured the manual and it is written for techies, which I am not. I used a Graphtec for 6 years where I worked (the boss took care of the "tech-stuff"), then I moved across states...
