  1. Lightbox Application Option

Breaking that panel is why I wasn't wanting to mess with what's there. I've made that mistake before! I thought about the ACM route and I think that's how I'll push them. It's a semi-shady part of town and that sounds like a fairly quick in and out.
  2. Lightbox Application Option

Owner doesn't care about this being backlit. I'd like to avoid removing this panel (16'x50"). Is it a dumb idea to put a semi-rigid print on top of this using VHB?
  3. Mobile Sheet Cart

Has anyone built a cart for 4x8 sheet storage and could share a pic for ideas? Thanks!
  4. Magnetic Primer under graphic

https://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/specialty/magnetic/ Has anyone put that under a graphic? Does it work?
  5. Printed Translucent Adhesive and old lightbox acrylic

It would be white translucent from b2Sign but I think I'm gonna tell them they need a new panel. I don't want them calling me back...
  6. Printed Translucent Adhesive and old lightbox acrylic

Man! I appreciate everyone's feedback. I'll urge them to get new panels!
  7. Printed Translucent Adhesive and old lightbox acrylic

Can you get away with putting printed translucent adhesive over a lightbox that has older yellowed acrylic or should the customer buy new acrylic? Thanks! Greg
  8. Advice

They supplied print files, initially told I would have a couple months to review, print and install, ended up being about 10 days.

Your average viewing wouldn't notice it but the people who are writing the check were literally looking for flaws. After putting a section up that had a flaw or two I explained to them that because of the waves in the drywall it was the best that I was going to be able to do and if that didn't...
  12. Advice

For the most part, you would have to be specifically looking for problems in order to catch the mistakes. I'm not downplaying them... I know they're still mistakes and I've owned em. I agree that some sort of rigid substrate would have been far better than what I attempted. Just an expensive...
  13. Advice

I'm just going to take the loss and move on to the next one... I could reprint/reinstall panels but honestly I don't believe that this customer will ever be happy. What do I do if my installation is still up several months from now?
  14. Advice

I printed and installed and a 120'x8' wall mural (several sections) for a customer. The customer is refusing to pay because the job isn't to their standards. There were 20 or so small (2" ish) creases which I worked, heated and smoothed out but still there (Attached is an example of what I'm...

Typically I can and don't mind at all. But I was at the last few feet of a 30'x8' panel run trying to figure out what I was going to do with a hump/tunnel in the material, I've got my helper putting tension on the top, I'm at the bottom and I've got Karen standing 4 feet away asking, "How's it...
