I cut some yesterday using a Bosch Colt router with a template bit following a piece of Alupanel as a guide. This worked pretty well with minimal fuzz left to clean. I had a print on the coro, and that was covered with a layer of prespacing tape to protect the print. Of course, I checked this...
Hi all - I'm looking for the Anita Abramo font. The customer had a friend do their logo and, well, they're no longer friends. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all,
We're working on a design for a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500. Does anyone know if the badges on the door are on with double-stick tape or if they're physically pinned to the door panel? The client is open to removing them to make the design work (it's a fleet truck) if they're just stuck on...
I ended up sending them individually as .eps files, which worked. I think I may have to go on a purge though. It's looking pretty cluttered in the queues.
So, I'm trying to RIP a 10 page PDF created in InDesign. Versawoks gets to 100% on the RIP and just hangs there. I had the same thing happen the other day on a multi-page created in Illustrator. Anyone else observing this behaviour? I really *really* don't want to have to go back to using .eps...
I can't really point to a specific resource. This is stuff I kind of picked up over the years dicking around with computers and trying to make them work how I want them to. Try looking up Powershell for beginners on YouTube though, there's probably something to help you along. If you're blessed...
We have a master template set up in InDesign that get copied to every new client file we open via a shell script (that's another story). All of the background stuff like field names is set up on a master page, as is the fill-in info. We have master pages for mock-up and proof stage forms. I set...
I'm on the Width and Height bandwagon as well. Whenever I'm setting up a spreadsheet I do it in that order because that's the way it's set up in Illustrator. Less translation of terminology ==> Less stupid human involvment ==> Less chance for error.
Solved!
The problem was in the media profile. IDK where the profile we were using came from. I downloaded the correct profile from Avery for our printer and ink setup and the banding went away. Just as a note for reference, there are two profiles for MPI 1105, one 6 pass, one 10 pass (for an...
Hey all - We have a Roland XR640 and we're trying to print on Avery MPI1105SC. The print has a few shades of grey in it as well as black and white. The light grey is BK11, the dark grey is BK17. Black is BK22. We're setting the spot colours in Versaworks, head speed is 400. We're getting banding...
So, in Versaworks 6 (and possibly before), there is an option to apply Print-Cut alignment crop marks either for each row, or for each data entry. I've tried playing with the setting, but it always seems unselectable. I've tried using it on nested jobs as well as multiple copies. Does this...
Hi all,
Sorry if this Q doesn't belong here, but I'm new to the forum etc, etc...
I'm trying to colour match Pantone 2727c using a Roland XR640 and Briteline IM2201GY Cal Vinyl. I've been messing around with this for two days now on and off changing CMYK values both in Illustrator and...
